Solution
In May 2022, The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University implemented the “ATCENTRAL®” system to achieve unified multi-campus management, closed-loop surgery department workflows, and endoscope center traceability on top of full-process tracking:
- Multi-Campus Management
All three campuses utilize a single traceability system for the life-cycle management of reusable instruments, including return, cleaning, packaging, sterilization, and distribution. Each campus maintains independent administrative permissions, while centralized management rights (e.g., workload statistics and analysis) are vested in a unified team.
2. Closed-Loop Surgery Department Workflow
By seamlessly integrating with the hospital’s Surgery System, the “ATCENTRAL®” system enables real-time binding of patients, surgeries, and sterile packs. Data synchronization between the anesthesia system and “ATCENTRAL®” ensures closed-loop traceability from surgery preparation to postoperative sterilization.
3. Endoscopic Center Traceability
The hospital employs the “ATCENTRAL®” Endoscopic Quality Traceability System to manage precision cleaning, disinfection, and usage tracking of endoscopes across three campuses and multiple endoscopic departments. This ensures standardized digitalization applications throughout the hospital, serving as a critical component of its smart hospital construction and interoperability efforts.
