Solution

In July 2022, the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University officially implemented the “ATCENTRAL®” CSSD Traceability Management System. This system enables closed-loop traceability from the cleaning, disinfection, packaging, and sterilization of reusable instruments in the disinfection supply center to their clinical use by patients across all departments and operating rooms.

The “ATCENTRAL®” system integrates with multiple hospital information systems, including HIS , HERP and data platforms, fulfilling interoperability requirements for hospital management. It achieves true closed-loop management for clinical instrument usage registration and optimizes supply chain efficiency through dynamic allocation with departmental requests, significantly enhancing the CSSD’s operational management.

Additionally, The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University launched Endoscopy Traceability Management System in the same year realizes comprehensive monitoring of endoscope reprocessing workflows, including disinfection cycles, drying parameters, and personnel/equipment data analytics. This creates a complete, auditable tracking ecosystem that seamlessly interoperates with the “ATCENTRAL®” disinfection supply chain system, ensuring unified governance and patient safety standards.
