Wuhan Asia Heart General Hospital
——The first case of “ATCENTRAL®”

Wuhan Asia Heart General Hospital, a subsequent masterpiece of Asian Industrial Group following the successful establishment of Wuhan Asia Heart Hospital, was invested and constructed under the policy incentives of the government to build national medical centers and cultivate national-level branded hospitals. As a large-scale comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, research, prevention, health care, emergency rescue, and rehabilitation, it covers an area of 240,000 square meters, with 1,100 inpatient beds and 108 ICU beds in independent spaces. The hospital is equipped with facilities such as a helicopter landing pad, skywalks, rooftop gardens, green corridors, and garden-style wards, designed to provide patients with convenient emergency services, evacuation, treatment, and rest areas. Its total investment exceeds RMB 1.3 billion.

Solution

The “ATCENTRAL®” CSSD Traceability Management System began installation and implementation in December 2018 and was officially put into use in June 2019. Currently, the system has been widely adopted across more than 50 departments, including the Surgical Center, Interventional Center, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), general wards, outpatient clinics, and various medical technology departments. Within the disinfection supply center, the “ATCENTRAL®” system has achieved seamless integration with washing, disinfection and sterilization equipment. In December 2020, the head nurse of the hospital’s disinfection supply center shared the application status and practical experience of the “ATCENTRAL®” system at the 16th Development Forum on Disinfection Supply Centers organized by the Chinese Nursing Association.
